U.S. announces Musharraf visit

WASHINGTON MAY 20. The White House has formally announced the visit of the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf. "President Bush will welcome President Pervez Musharraf to Camp David on June 24," says a statement issued by the Press Secretary at the White House.

"Pakistan is a stalwart ally in the war on terror. President Bush looks forward to discussing with President Musharraf regional and international issues and to reviewing means to further deepen and broaden bilateral relations between the U.S. and Pakistan," the statement said.
