BMP employee held for attempt to murder

BANGALORE MAY 20. The Chamarajpet Police arrested a BMP Revenue Inspector for allegedly attempting to murder his wife on Tuesday.

Police said that following a petty quarrel, Chandrashekar of 7th Main, Chamarajpet, allegedly hit his wife, Triveni (35), on the head with a wooden pound. Triveni is battling for life in a private hospital.

Killed in mishap: Rudrappa, a retired BEL employee and a resident of Lottegollahalli, was killed when a lorry dashed against his two-wheeler near the BEL Railway Gate on Tuesday morning.
