Moschip's latest USB connectivity

MUMBAI: Moschip Semiconductor Technology has announced the availability of its latest product in its USB connectivity line of highly integrated devices. The MCS7860 is a USB 2.0 to USB 2.0 hi-speed link chip. This fully integrated device allows two PC's to connect using their USB ports. The chip, through its device driver, emulates a network connection so that the second PC is seen by the first as a member of its `Network neighborhood'. One cable with a MCS7860 can connect two PCs and two cables can connect three PCs, says a BSE release.
