Rajiv Gandhi remembered

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM May 21. The KPCC today observed the 12th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi as `Anti-communalism Day'. An eight-hour fast and all prayer meetings were held in all district headquarters and the Indira Bhavan, the KPCC headquarters.

The senior Congress leader, K. Karunakaran, inaugurated the fast in the State capital. The Youth Congress (YC) organised blood donation camps. According to the YC, more than 2,000 workers donated blood.
