Kailash pilgrimage off

NEW DELHI May 22. The 2003 Kailash-Mansarovar pilgrimage has been put off, an official statement from the Ministry of External Affairs said today. This follows an advice from the Chinese Government that it is not allowing tourists into Tibet to prevent the spread of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

The draw for the selection of tourists also stands postponed.
