Sandhya clinches last berth

NEW DELHI MAY 23. Sandhya Nagaraj defeated Sagarika Phadke 7-5, 6-1 to clinch the last berth for the $5000 ITF women's circuit Masters to be played at the DLTA Complex here next week.

The third player who had tied for the last two slots with 5.5 circuit points, Chirashanti Rajur got a bye in the play-off draw and made her entry into the Masters.

The Masters will have 16 players, and will be played from May 26.
