Narrow escape

NEW DELHI MAY 23. The crew of an Alliance Air flight and 83 passengers on board had a providential escape this morning, when two tyres of the aircraft burst while it was taking off from Leh. The aircraft was subsequently forced to make an emergency landing in Delhi.

The panic button was pressed the moment the chartered flight experienced the tyre burst during the take-off around 7-30 a.m.
