Ramesh's final round draw took his score to 7.5 points from nine games as he won the trophy and Rs.15,000 cash prize with ease. The second to sixth places saw a five-way tie on seven points. Four international masters, Kidambi and Saravanan of Bharat Petroleum, Prakash of Indian Bank and Deepan Chakravarthi of Wipro and FIDE Master K.V.
