Mamata to visit Delhi soon?

Kolkata May 25. The Trinamool Congress leader, Mamata Banerjee, remained confined in her residence today discussing with her close confidantes her likely visit to Delhi to discuss with the Prime Minister the issue of her joining the Cabinet.

Sources close to Ms. Banerjee said that she had received several communications from the Prime Minister's Office yesterday shortly before his announcement that another "minor" reshuffle would be effected in the Cabinet, possibly after his return from the three-nation tour beginning on Tuesday.

The Trinamool general secretary, Mukul Roy, has already said that Ms. Banerjee might leave for Delhi "any day" to discuss with the Central leadership her likely re-induction into the Union Cabinet. — PTI
