The magnanimous Mr. Reeves

LONDON: Hollywood star Keanu Reeves, who is known for his generosity, has decided to give away £50 million from the profits earned from two Matrix sequels to effects and costume designers who worked on the movies. "Money is the last thing I think about. I could live for the next few centuries on what I've already made," he said. The two films are expected to pull in about £450 million worldwide, netting the megastar nearly £70 million. He negotiated a bumper contract which gives him 15 per cent of box office takings for The Matrix Reloaded and its follow-up, The Matrix Revolutions. While filming the sequels in Australia, Reeves, who doesn't own a home and lives in hotels, surprised 12 stuntmen by presenting them Harley-Davidson motorbikes. — ANI
