A total of 6,66,315 students, including 3,31,406 girls took the SSLC examinations at 2,032 centres across the State. For the matriculation examinations, 82,859 students appeared and 4,854 students appeared for the Anglo-Indian School Leaving Examination. The instant supplementary examinations for those who fail in these examinations will be held in June last week, the Director of Government Examinations, C. Palanivelu, said.
