Infiltration `effort' continuing: Army chief

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD May 28. Despite the recent peace initiatives by India and Pakistan there had been no let up in the infiltration "effort", N.C. Vij, Chief of the Army Staff, told presspersons after inaugurating the Army College of Dental Sciences near here today.

Pointing out that recently some attempts at infiltration had been foiled in the Pir Panjal range, he said, "the rate of success of infiltration may have dropped because the Indian Army has been better prepared for them, but there was no lack of effort on their part".
