22 IAS officers shifted

BHUBANESWAR MAY 28. The Orissa Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, today effected a massive reshuffle in the State's bureaucracy.

As many as 22 senior IAS officers were shifted from their present responsibilities and given new charges.

The Higher Education Secretary, Prafulla Chandra Mishra, an alleged accused in three corruption cases registered by the State Vigilance Department, has been posted as Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs.

The Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Industrial Development Corporation (IDCOL), Hrushikesh Panda, who was recently suspended for allegedly misbehaving with a Minister and a senior legislator, has been posted as Managing Director of the Orissa State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (OMFED).
