Held for dowry harassment

TIRUCHI MAY 28. The Police have arrested a teacher of a school in Sirunatham near Uppliyapuram and his mother on a charge of dowry harassment.

Chellappapu (32), preferred a complaint with the police that S.Ganesan (37), her husband, her mother in-law, Kaliammal (60), and their relative, Indrani, had been demanding Rs. two lakhs for the past three years.

Ganesan and Kaliammal were arrested and remanded to 15 days judicial custody. The police are looking for Indrani.
