The day's best effort came from Siddarth Srinivasan of Coimbatore who returned a card of two over 74. Gaganjeet Bhullar maintained his five-stroke lead in the A Group but Ajeetesh Sandhu in B Group overtook Amanjyot Singh and Kanishk Madan sneaked into sharing the lead with Madhav Soi in C Group to make the final day's play interesting. Gaganjeet Bhullar began to find the course tough from the fifth hole. Bogeys on the fifth and ninth were followed by a disastrous effort on the tenth. The pin on the tenth placed on a slope saw most golfers messing up their scorecards. Jaskirat Dullet went from bunker to far down the green and ended up with a triple bogey. Gaganjeet logged a bogey on the tenth and nobody came up with a better effort than par on the tenth. One youngster even complained that according to USPGA rules it was illegal to place a pin at that position. However he was silenced with the statement that this tournament was being played under the Royal & St. Andrew's rules. In category B, Ajeetesh Sandhu regained the top spot he had surrendered to Amanjyot Singh on the second day. Ajeetesh has only a one-stroke lead over Amanjyot and the one who plays better on the final day would be the winner. Viraj Gadhoke is best a dark horse in this section. In category C too the contest for the top spot is an exciting one. Madhav Soi who had a three-stroke lead on the second day found Kanishk Madan from Delhi nullifying the advantage. Madan returned with a card of 83 while Madhav Soi could only manage an 86. Local boy Preetam Haridass could spring an upset as he is only three strokes in arrears. The boys in the under-10 category are also in a sort of cluster. While Raghav Bhandari leads by six strokes, joint second placed, Rommel Majumdar and KGA's Khalin Joshi are capable of turning the tables. The scores: (after 3rd round): Category A: 1. Gaganjeet Bhullar (71, 71, 76) 218; 2. Jaskirat Singh Dullet (73, 74, 76) 223; 3. Aditya Singh (80, 71, 79) 230; 4. Ajeetesh Sandhu (78, 78, 76) 232; 5.
