The new STD tariffs, however, would not be applicable in Delhi and Mumbai. Moreover, the customers would have to subscribe to the new tariff plan by paying a monthly charge of Rs. 50. As per this plan, the subscribers can call up to 100 minutes of STD calls on cell-to-cell at the rate of 50 paise a minute while beyond 100 minutes the charges would be Rs. 1.99 per minute, a Bharti press release said. The new tariff would be applicable only for the post-paid subscribers. PTI
