Sources in the Meteorological Department have forecast that the weather in Bangalore would remain between 36 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius over the next two days. Many parts of Bidar, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Raichur, and Bellary are reeling under the heatwave. On Wednesday, the mercury dipped slightly and came down to 36.7 degrees Celsius. But this brought no respite for the people bogged down by power and water shortages.
