Dated May 30, 1953: Otto Meissner passes away

Dr. Otto Meissner, head of the German Chancellery during Germany's Third Reich rule, died in Munich on the 27th. He was 73. Dr. Meissner had had the distinction of having served Germany as civil servant or diplomat in three regimes, of the Kaiser, the Weimar Republic, and the Third Reich.
