The Revenue Board has constructed its website in association with National Informatics Centre to make available information about land and revenue records of 165 of the 241 tehsils in the State. The information is available on www.rajrevboard.gov.in and apnakhata.raj.nic.in. These records were computerised in a special drive recently. The Board has also launched an interactive voice response system, a case law compact disc, and 23 compact discs containing the records of old "Jamabandis'' which have been scanned. The case law CD will provide information about all rulings classified under various Acts, sections and case numbers. Similarly, the Jamabandi CDs will solve the problem of access to old revenue records and prove helpful for thousands of farmers, litigants and lawyers. The Deputy Chief Minister, Kamla, dedicated the four projects to the people here on Thursday and termed them as a "historic initiative'' which would reduce the difficulties faced by farmers in getting copies of documents and other information. The four projects have incorporated all information about land records, mutation proceedings, grazing land, public thoroughfares and other land involving public interest.
