Centralised seat allotment for engg.

By Our Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM May 31. The Centralised Seat Allotment Process for admission to the engineering courses, 2003, will be held at the TJM Hall, LMS Compound, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, from June 9 onwards, as per the schedule given below.

The rank list of candidates had already been published for the engineering courses, on the basis of the Engineering Entrance Examination, 2003.

Candidates who have been included in the rank list, under various categories, should be present at the scheduled time as per the notification, for the allotment of courses and colleges.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will allot the seats based on their availability, at that point of time, as the candidate appears for counselling.

Candidates will be permitted to exercise high order option for the courses/colleges for consideration in the vacancies that may arise in future.

If a candidate gets allotment to a self- financing college and gets admitted to that college, he/she will not have the option to change the college subsequently, but can submit options for other branches in the same college.

The application for such a change may be submitted to the principal of the college, with intimation to the CEE.

However, while appearing for the centralised allotment process, the candidate will have the facility to exercise option to any course in any Government/aided/self- financing college.

The allotment of seats will be essentially provisional. Any genuine complaint regarding allotment should immediately be brought to the notice of the CEE at the allotment venue itself.

The CEE has informed that the allotment of medical/agricultural courses would be notified later.
