Angalan makes surprise visit to KVIB centres

Pondicherry May 31. The Chairman of Pondicherry Khadi and Village Industries Board and MLA, P. Angalan, yesterday made a surprise visit to production centres of the board.

Accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer, M. Arunachalam, and the Deputy CEO, G. Ganesan, Mr. Angalan first visited the head office at Saram. There he found some members of the staff not at their seats. He issued orders for action against them. Then he went to the Ariyapalayam centre where he found some workers absent. He recommended action against the absentees.
