Petrol, diesel prices slashed

New Delhi May 31. State-run oil firms today passed on the benefit of appreciating rupee value to consumers by way of a 10 paise per litre cut in petrol and diesel prices. Petrol would cost Rs. 30.30 per litre in Delhi as against the prevailing Rs. 30.40 a litre while diesel prices has gone down from Rs. 19.18 to Rs. 19.08 per litre, official sources said here.

The new prices would be effective from midnight tonight. — PTI
