Of the 9,847 candidates that appeared for the three-year law course, 7,572 constituting 76.9 per cent have passed the exam and so also in the case of the 5-year course, it was 2,072 out of 2,412 appeared. The categorywise break-up of the figures of the passed candidates belonging to both the 3 and the 5-year courses is as follows: In respect of the SCs who appeared the 5-year course, out of 602 candidates applied 527 have appeared and all of them have come out successful. In the three-year course also out of ,1817 who applied, 1690 have appeared and all have passed. It is a cent percent pass in respect of the STs also in both the courses. Out of 72 that applied for the 5-year course all the 66 have appeared and all have passed and so also in case of the 3 year course, 194 out of 208 have appeared for the test and all got through. As for the BCs, out of 795 that applied for the 5-year stream, 701 have appeared of whom 520 have passed constituting a 74.18 per cent. In respect of the 3-year stream, number of passes is 2,749 out of 3,848 who appeared out of 4,122 applied. As for women, in the five-year course out of 753 that have applied as many as 680 appeared and 601 have passed constituting 88.38%. In the three-year course (women), out of 2,286 that applied, 2,123 appeared and 1318 of them have passed. In the "others'' slot indicating the non-reservation category, in the 5 year stream, 267 have qualified out of 316 that have applied making up a 84.69% and so also in case of the 3 year course, out of 1259 that have applied, 1168 have appeared of whom 1089 constituting 93.24% have passed. A look at the statistics revealed that the maximum number of candidates that appeared and came out successful in respect of both the streams are from Telangana region considered to be backward. The following are the top-ten candidates at the State level in both the streams. 5-year stream: Kishorekumar (Vizag) 86 marks bagged the first rank, Polagaru Ankamma Rao(Guntur) 85 marks-II rank, Bokka Apparao (Vijayawada) 84 marks-3rd rank, Gamgavelli Gopalakishna-Vijayawada, 82 marks 4th rank, Ballamudi Janaki Swathi (Vijayawada) 81 marks-6th rank, Sneha Bhogle (Hyd) 81 marks-6th rank, Thambichetty Subramanyan (Tirupati) 80 marks, Mannem Damodar (Nalgonda), Kadimpalli Mohankumar (Hyd) and B. Kumaraswamy (Cuddapah) alll scored 80 marks and ranked 10th. Top ten in the 3-year course: Kolluru Sureshkumar (Warangal) 87 marks-1st rank, Sidhamsetty Gangadhara rao (Hyderabad) 85 marks 3rd rank, Vodela Ravikumar (Waragal) 85 marks-3rd rank, Patil Shiva Datta Gowda (Hyd) 82 marks-6th rank, Panduranga Ramapuram (Tirupati) 82 marks-6th rank, Ganji Deepti (Hyd) 82 marks-6th rank, Avvaru Ravindranath (Nellore) 81 marks-8th rank, Muddusetti Sivaiah (Hyderabad) 81 marks-8th rank, Subba Rao Yerra (Hyderabad) 80 marks-11th rank, Somireddy Gudimetla (Rajahmundry) 80marks-11th rank and Pothula Raghotham (Hyd) 80 marks and 11th rank.
