V.C. Shukla inducted into NCP working committee

NEW DELHI MAY 31. The Nationalist Congress Party today inducted Vidya Charan Shukla, who recently quit the Congress, into its working committee.

The 23-member committee was formed by Sharad Pawar, a day after his re-election as party chief.

Apart from having P.A. Sangma and Tariq Anwar, founder members of the party in 1999, the committee includes the Maharasthra Deputy Chief Minister, Chhagan Bhujbal, the former Chief Ministers, Wilfred D' Souza and Jagannath Mishra and the former Gujarat Minister, Sanat Mehta.
