The demand has been made in the context of the Central Bureau of Investigation filing a supplementary chargesheet against the two (besides others) in the special court at Rae Bareli in the Ayodhya Babri Masjid Demolition case. In a statement, the party politburo has noted that the continuation of these Ministers ``is untenable'' after the supplementary chargesheet. The BJP has been laughing off the cases against Mr. Advani and Dr. Joshi as politically motivated, carrying no moral odium on the two leaders.
