1 killed as train derails

PATNA JUNE 1. One person was killed and 24 were injured when 14 bogies of the Delhi-bound Magadh Express shot off the tracks on the Baruna-Parasia section in Buxar district under the Danapur Division of the East Central Zone early this morning.

The train derailed within two hours of its delayed departure from here. The Rajdhani Express had crossed the point of derailment 20 minutes earlier. Implements used in cutting the track were said to have been found at the spot.
