Train rams 3 elephants

LUCKNOW JUNE 1. Three elephants were run over by a speeding Gonda-Malani passenger train at the Dudhwa National Wildlife Sanctuary here last night, Forest Department sources said here. A herd of elephants had strayed on to the tracks. Three elephants died on the spot while another injured pachyderm escaped into the forest. Senior forest officials have rushed to the spot.
