Shyam Mani, general manager (sales and marketing), Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Engineering, said, "The Tata 207 DI is the result of intensive design, engineering and technical testing. The performance parameters were outlined on the basis of extensive and in-depth consumer feedback.''

The company's sales from this model already averages 700-800 units a month.

The Euro-2 version was also launched here today and the prices range between Rs. 3.86 lakhs and Rs. 4.43 lakhs, across five models.

The vehicle is available in single cab and crew cab version in Bharat Stage I and Bharat Stage II.
