Medha Patkar's condition worsens

NASIK JUNE 3. The health condition of the Narmada Bachao Andolan leader, Medha Patkar, today deteriorated on the fifth day of her indefinite fast demanding the rehabilitation of the people affected by the Sardar Sarovar Project before the monsoon set in. Ms. Patkar vomited but refused any medical check-up when a team of government doctors team met her at the agitation site in front of the Divisional Commissioner's office at Nasik Road, Pratibha Shinde, NBA spokesperson, told PTI.
