No, says LTTE

By V.S. Sambandan

COLOMBO JUNE 4. In a complete rejection of the Sri Lankan Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe's offer to clarify his proposals for a development oriented structure, the LTTE today dismissed the suggestions aimed at giving them a role in the reconstruction of the northeast as "unsatisfactory and, therefore, unacceptable".

The LTTE said it was prepared to resume talks if offered "a draft framework for an interim administrative structure" as proposed by its leadership.
