38 insurgents surrender

AGARTALA JUNE 5. A total of 38 insurgents of two different outfits today surrendered with arms and ammunition before the CRPF at its headquarters here.

Eight insurgents belonging to the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura surrendered before the Inspector-General of the CRPF, Sukhjinder Singh, and deposited three AK series rifles.

Thirty militants of the Borok National Council of Tripura surrendered with some country-made guns.
