Three Indian players also bagged different awards to make this year's awards almost an India-Australia affair. The Indians who won the award were Sachin Tendulkar as Cricketer of the 2003 World Cup; Harbhajan Singh as International Bowler of the Year and Virender Sehwag as International Fielder of the Year. India was placed third in the Ceat International Team of the Year with 88 points behind Australia on 145 points and South Africa on 100 points. The awards, which were announced here on Wednesday, are based on a points system developed by the Ceat Cricket Rating - Governing Council consisting of former greats Ian Chappell, Clive Lloyd and Sunil Gavaskar.
