Sir, The delay in procuring the advanced jet trainers (AJT) is proving to be fatal as IAF planes go on crashing every now and then. It is hard to believe that a pilot, trained on an inferior plane, could fly the supersonic and `ageing' MiGs. It is being heard that the delay in getting AJTs is due to some `economic negotiations'. Is money more important than the lives of the pilots?
