Armed man shot dead near Heathrow

LONDON JUNE 7. An armed man was shot and killed by police last evening after he pulled a gun on them and refused to stop his car near the Heathrow airport, police sources said.

A police spokeswoman said they were treating it as a criminal incident and not as a potential terrorist attack.

``There was a firearms incident. A white man was wounded who later succumbed to his injuries,'' she told PTI.
