Responding ahead of today's release of her memoir, "Living History," to a question whether she would run for President in either 2004 or 2008, Ms. Clinton, a Senator from New York, said: "I don't have any intentions or plans of running." "I'm flattered that the question gets asked. And I hope that it will lead to a woman running for President. We have a lot of good women," she said. Ms. Clinton said she had also learned to live politically with former adversaries such as House of Representatives Majority Leader, Tom DeLay, one of the chorus leaders for the impeachment of her husband, the former President, Bill Clinton. "We can disagree, and of course, we do disagree, but I have found allies on all kinds of issues ... I've even begun working with Mr. DeLay on adoption and foster care an issue we both care deeply about,'' she said. "I'm a Senator, and my job is to represent New Yorkers, and I can't feel that there's anything personal about political disagreement. AFP
