Praying for rain

Sir, — It is disturbing to see various Governments organising special prayers and pujas to appease the rain god. Governments should follow logical and scientific ways to tackle problems.

Do we need a Government to perform prayers and pujas? This only indicates that our leaders have lost the capability to lead us.

T.R. Nagendra Rao,

Manipal, Karnataka
