`Akash' test-fired

BALASORE JUNE 10. The medium range surface-to-air missile `Akash' was test-fired today from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur-on-sea, about 15 km from here.

The missile was test-fired at 11.40 a.m. This was the third test-fire of the missile from the ITR in the past fortnight. Scientists of the Defence Research Development Organisation and the ITR witnessed the test-firing. — UNI
