Monsoon advancing well

NEW DELHI June 10. Senior officials in the Union Agriculture Ministry today expressed confidence that there may not be any problem this year, as the southwest monsoon continues to surge forward everyday.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department announced that while the Bay of Bengal arm of the monsoon continued to bring good rain to the northeast, the Arabian Sea arm has further advanced into more parts of Tamil Nadu and coastal and south interior Karnataka.
