Kerala
By Our Staff Reporter
Mr. George said he had sought a Vigilance inquiry into the alleged irregularities and corruption charges against the Kerala Congress(J) leaders in connection with various PWD projects and the Plus Two allocation even in the Assembly, but for no avail. He said he had never raised any corruption charge against the former Minister for Public Works and Education, P.J. Joseph, and all reports in this regard were baseless. However, he added that a three-member party committee was studying the corruption charges against certain party leaders on the basis of a complaint by a party executive member, James Illickan. He said he would open his mind on the issue only after studying the report of the internal inquiry panel.
