BMTC issuing passes to students

BANGALORE JUNE 10. The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) started issuing students' bus passes from Tuesday at various counters across the City.

Passes will be issued at the following places: Kempe Gowda Bus Station, K.R. Market Bus Stand, Shivajinagar Bus Stand, Jayanagar, Yeshwantpur, Vijayanagar, Rajajinagar 1st Block, Banashankari, Domlur, Yelahanka Satellite Town, Malleswaram, Ulsoor, Srinagar, R.T. Nagar, J.P. Nagar 6th Phase, Koramangala, K.H.B. Colony — Kengeri, Chandra Layout, Chowdeshwari Bus Stand, J.P. Park — Mathikere, Kumaraswamy Layout, Kalyanagar, Basaveshwarnagar, B.T.M. Layout, Neelasandra, Krishnarajapuram, Kengeri, Vidyaranyapura, Nandini Layout, R.P.C. Layout, Electronics City, N.R. Colony, Byatarayanapura (Mysore Road), and Jeevanbheemanagar.

Students can obtain passes, which are issued at concessional rates, from the counter nearest their residences after submitting the prescribed application form attested by the Head of their institution, an official release says.
