D-Link had invested about Rs. 15-20 crores in developing these products. The entry into high-end products would enable the company to target 22-25 per cent in about 2-3 years. The company had recently acquired two more facilities in Goa, taking its total to five. The new facility would enable the company to manufacture mother board, which was hitherto produced by its partner, Gigabite, in Taiwan. The company is one of the major producers of modems and marketing about five lakh pieces annually.
