Sharad Yadav manhandled

BHUBANESWAR JUNE 13. The Union Minister for Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Sharad Yadav, was manhandled by a large group of protestors at the Biju Patnaik airport here today.

The agitators, who belonged to the Dhana Chasi Suraksha Samiti (Paddy Farmers' Protection Committee), were protesting the refusal of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) to buy paddy from the farmers in Orissa.
