Andhra Pradesh-Hyderabad
By Our Staff Reporter
The Floor Leader of the party in the Legislative Assembly, Nomula Narasimhaiah said that though there was an uproar from the poorer sections of people in the city, demanding water, the Government was only issuing statement after statement, talking of Krishna water, instead of making the required arrangements. The Secretary, P.S.N. Murthy, said representations to the powers-that-be only fell on deaf ears. He alleged the Board was adopting double standards, going on to explain that there was never a shortage of supply or any related problem in the posh areas of the city.
