The suspended judge, R. P. Mishra, and the manager were arrested when police raided the hotel following a tip-off last night. The trade came to light when a 23-year-old girl, who was rescued from Gomtinagar area of the city, alleged that the judge used to lure girls on the pretext of providing them jobs. The girl, in her statement to the police, said she had been living in Mr. Mishra's house for the past eight months and he used to take her to his friends. She said over a dozen girls were involved in the trade. Mr. Mishra, who was a judge in Ghazipur district, denied the allegations saying her statement could not be construed as evidence. PTI
