Dipak Chatterjee to head panel

NEW DELHI June 17. Dipak Chatterjee, IAS, (West Bengal cadre, 1966 batch), has been posted as Chairperson, Competition Commission of India for five years with effect from September 16. An official release said the panel would also have a new member (Administration). Vinod K. Dhall, IAS, (Madhya Pradesh, 1966), Secretary, Department of Company Affairs, has been appointed to this post.

M.M.K. Sardana, IAS (West Bengal, 1968), now Special Secretary, Power, would be the new Secretary, Department of Company Affairs, in the place of Mr. Dhall. J.V.R. Prasada Rao, IAS (West Bengal, 1967), now Secretary, Department of Family Welfare, has been posted as Secretary, Department of Health, in the place of S.K. Naik, who has retired.
