By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI JUNE 19. A 30-year-old pregnant woman was killed after she got trapped under the debris of the wall of an under-construction two-storey building at Karol Bagh in Central Delhi yesterday. No arrest has been made so far.

Around 9-30 a.m., Babita was cutting grass in a park when the wall of an under-construction building collapsed and she got trapped under its debris. Her two-year-old daughter, Bhawana, escaped unhurt.

Babita was taken to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

She was eight-month pregnant, the police said, adding that the building was being constructed illegally.
