Around 9-30 a.m., Babita was cutting grass in a park when the wall of an under-construction building collapsed and she got trapped under its debris. Her two-year-old daughter, Bhawana, escaped unhurt. Babita was taken to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment. She was eight-month pregnant, the police said, adding that the building was being constructed illegally.
Assaulted
A 26-year-old woman was allegedly criminally assaulted by her uncle's brother-in-law at Seelampur in North- East Delhi a month ago. The victim reported the matter to the police on Tuesday alleging that she had been criminally assaulted by Rampal.
