Australia still in lead

Chennai June 20. Australia continues to lead the field in the International Cricket Council's Test and ODI ratings. In Tests, Australia tops with 129 points, followed by South Africa (115) and New Zealand (103).

Interestingly, if Sri Lanka wins the two-Test series against the Caribbeans 2-0, then it will join New Zealand in the third spot. India is in the sixth place with 91, the same as Pakistan.

In the ODIs, Australia has 132 points, and the second ranked South Africa, 122. Pakistan, tallying 111, finds a place in the top three. India is fifth with 104, just two points behind Sri Lanka.

The points: Tests: Australia - 129; South Africa - 115; New Zealand - 103; Sri Lanka - 101; England - 98; India - 91; Pakistan - 91; West Indies - 79; Zimbabwe - 58; Bangladesh - 4.

ODIs: Australia - 132; South Africa - 122; Pakistan - 111; Sri Lanka - 106; India - 104; West Indies - 103; New Zealand - 101; England - 97; Zimbabwe - 65; Kenya - 28; Bangladesh - 4.
