Lawyer expelled from AIADMK

CHENNAI JUNE 20. An AIADMK advocate, M. Vijayakumar, has been expelled from the primary membership of the party. Mr. Vijayakumar, along with many of his party colleagues, was involved in a heated dispute with the Advocate-General, N.R. Chandran on Thursday.

An AIADMK release, announcing his expulsion, stated that Mr. Vijayakumar's action brought disrepute to the party. It asked the party cadres not to have any contact with him.
