Blast in 'dargah'

Police officers investigate the Impact of a crude bomb blast on the roof of a 'dargah' in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

Ahmedabad June 21 . A low intensity `sutli' bomb exploded inside a small `dargah' near Khanpur chowk locality in the communally-sensitive Shahpur area of the city this afternoon.

Tension gripped the area for sometime, police sources said. However, the timely arrival of police and intensified patrolling in the area brought the situation back to normal soon.

The residents of the area said though the blast `sounded' big, there was no damage to the `dargah'.
