Bhupathi, Paes likely to meet in last four

London June 22. India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his Belarussian partner Max Mirnyi, top seeds in the doubles event of Wimbledon, may stand across the court from Leander Paes and David Rikl in the semifinals of the competition.

That is the earliest the two pairs, both in the top half of the draw, can meet. To get there, Paes and Rikl, seeded five, may have to get past the in-form third seeds, Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan of the United States.Paes and Rikl beat Bhupathi and Mirnyi in the quarterfinals of the French Open before losing to the Bryan brothers in the semifinals.
